Nicholis Berardi, of Clermont, FL died peacefully at home on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012. Born in Carteret, NJ, he was a resident of Perth Amboy, NJ before moving to Florida in 1987. Nick was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in Japan and Germany after the war. He was a volunteer firefighter and a member of the volunteer first aid squad in Perth Amboy. Nick retired from DuPont as an industrial pipefitter. He was also a member of the Sons of Italy and the Catholic War Veterans.

He is survived by Doris, his wife of 57 years; his daughters, Carol (John) of Land O'Lakes, FL and Joanne of Edison, NJ and son, Robert (Michelle) of Clermont, FL. He had 5 grandchildren, Ryan and Kelsey of NJ, John of FL and Melissa (deceased) and Meagan (deceased). He is also survived by brothers, Domenick of PA, Frank of NJ, James of FL and Edward of NJ. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Rose and a sister, Frances.
