AGE: 89 • Port Reading

Olga Daniele, 89 of Port Reading, passed away on Feb 4, 2013 peacefully at home. She was born in Perth Amboy and lived there prior to moving to Port Reading 60 years ago.

Olga's first job was as a riveter with the American women who contributed to the WWII home front. She retired from the Woodbridge Board of Education where she worked over 25 years. Olga loved to read, cook & bake; especially everyone's favorite chocolate chip cookies. One of her fondest memories was a trip cross country by train to visit her late husband's cousins in Vancouver, Canada. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's of Padua RC Church in Port Reading.

Olga was predeceased by her husband Anthony "Hutch" Daniele who died in 1977. Also predeceased by her brothers, Stanley, Stephen, John & Anton; Her sister in law, Rachel Mellilo, brother in law Andrew Toth and nephew Andrew M. Toth. She is survived by Daughter Phyllis Masarik and her husband Kevin; Her only Grand-daughter, Allison Masarik; Her sister-in-laws Louise & Antoniette and a brother-in-law Michael Daniele. Funeral will take place Thursday 8:30 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.Costello-greiner.com) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A 9:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection will follow at St. Anthony's Church, Port Reading. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia NJ. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb 6th from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Anthony's Church, 436 Port Reading Ave., Port Reading, NJ 07064.
