Died at her home in Washington, DC on January 4, 2013. Pearl Rosenbaum, nee Lando, was born in West Orange, NJ in 1913. She attended local schools and later Upsala College. In 1939, she married Harvey Rosenbaum and moved to Plainfield, NJ, where she lived for 30 years. The Rosenbaum family owned Rosenbaum Brothers Department Store on Front St. During those years, she was an active volunteer with Muhlenburg Hospital in Plainfield. Pearl was also an avid collector of mid-century arts and crafts and organized adult education classes. Pearl and Harvey Rosenbaum lived ib Bridgewater, NJ during the 1970's before moving to Washington where Harvey died in 2000.

Pearl is survived by her two sons, Jon and Ralph and Jon's wife Betsey of Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Harriet Wendell of Edison, NJ; her two sons, Jeff Wendell of Roanoke, Va and Bart Wendell of Petersham, MA; two nieces, Karen de Leshery of London, England and Janice Dowling of Tucson, AZ.

Interment private.
