Raffaele Zolofra, 82, of Long Branch, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at the Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Mr. Zolofra was born in Fondi, Italy, and immigrated to the United States settling in Long Branch in 1962. He served in the Italian Army. He retired as a cabinet maker from Tedesco Cabinetry, Long Branch.

Mr. Zolofra was predeceased by his parents, Rosaria Simonelli and Luigi Zolofra. Surviving is his wife, Angela Parisella Zolofra; a son and daughter-in-law, Raffaele and Jill Zolofra, Long Branch; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rosaria and Rick Sweger, Chesterfield, Va., Patrizia and John Green, Long Branch, and Luisa and Ken Wittenmeyer, Marlboro; four brothers, Vincenzo, Florida, Antonio, West Long Branch, Mario, Long Branch and Vittorio and his wife Vincenza, Ocean Twp.; sister and brother-in-law, Sylvana and Aldo Sacco, Florida; two brothers-in-law, Alberto Spirito and Cosentino Cantaffa, both of Italy; sister-in-law, Immaculata Zolofra, Italy; and his 12 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell St., Long Branch. Funeral services 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at the funeral home.
