Rhona Joyce Bodden Wilmot, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Summerhill Nursing Home, Old Bridge. She was 91. Born in Bodden Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, she came to the U.S., settling in Brooklyn, NY, where she resided until moving to Old Bridge in 1991. Prior to retiring in 1988, Mrs. Wilmot was a clerk for Bear Stearns & Co., Manhattan, NY, where she worked for 21 years. She was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church of Old Bridge.

She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth in 1988, three brothers Stanley, Gillis, and Mervyn Leroy Bodden and three sisters, Iris, Verna and Janet Bodden. Surviving are her daughters, Yvonne Gottlieb and her husband Ira of Old Bridge and Carroll Yates of West Bay; her sons, Charles Wilmot and his wife Paulette and Lloyd Wilmot and his wife Jean, all of Freehold; a brother, Haldean Bodden and a sister Ruth Moncrieffe, both of Grand Cayman Island; 7 grandchildren: Justine, Melanie, Ryan, Heather, Rodger, Matthew and Maxwell; a great grandson Cedeño Patrick, Jr. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 27, from 4:30 - 6:30PM at Simpson United Methodist Church, Old Bridge, where a funeral service will take place at 6:30PM, under the direction of The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, East Brunswick (www.brunswickmemorialhome.com). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Simpson United Methodist Church, 2095 Route 516, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
