Richard E. Uldrich, 91, of Lakewood, and formerly of Brick, passed away on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at Leisure Park. Born in Jersey City, he moved to Brick in 1954 and to Lakewood in 2010. Richard worked as an Electronic Technician for Lakehurst Naval Air Station. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion in Brick. Richard was an avid bowler and won many tournaments. He enjoyed flying radio-controlled airplanes at East Coast Indoor Modelers. Richard was a parishioner of Church of the Visitation, Brick.

Richard is survived by his wife, Antoinette (Mosca) Uldrich of Lakewood; two sons, Richard L. Uldrich and his wife Patrice Gregory of Sea Girt, and David Uldrich and his wife MaryAnne of Toms River; one sister, Norma Sloan of California; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 at Church of the Visitation, 730 Lynnwood Avenue, Brick. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. Colonial Funeral Home, Brick, is in charge of arrangements.
