Rose Milano Giordano Born: May 16, 1920 Passed: November 17, 2013 Born Rosina Milano to parents who came over to America via Ellis Island. Third child of eight siblings. Married April 20, 1941 to Dominick, who predeceased her in 2006. She is also predeceased by her youngest daughter Rose Ann Giordano-Strouse in 2010 and great-grandson Jacob Sanderson. She is survived by her three daughters, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. Born in Newark, NJ, she later moved to Lakewood, NJ with her family where she lived for 40 years. She spent the last 3 years of her married life in Egg Harbor City, NJ with her husband Dominick. She was a hard worker and worked well into her late 60's. She was the glue that held her family together. Her last years were spent living with her daughter Janice and son-in-law James on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. She was a member of the Catholic Family of St. Andrews the Apostle Church on Chincoteague Island, in Virginia. Prior to moving, she was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Lake R.C Church for 40 years in Lakewood, NJ. Services include a viewing at 11am, the mass of Christian burial at 12pm, both at Holy Family RC Church, East County Line Rd, Lakewood NJ, on Thursday, November 21, 2013. Interment will be at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ. directly following the mass. She was a strong woman and a loving mother. She will be sorely missed. The Timothy E.
