AGE: 88 Solebury Twp.

Rose H. Carr, 88, died Wednesday at the Doylestown Hospital. Born in Perth Amboy, Rose had lived in Middletown for thirty three years and in Solebury for the last thirteen years. She graduated from Perth Amboy High School class of 1940and then attended Ohio State University and the NJ College for Women. During WW II Rose worked at her father's business Interboro Trucking and later joined her husband John at Carr Canvas Products until her retirement. She was a member of the United States Navy League and the Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club and was an avid golfer and gardener and was a member of St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church.

Daughter of the late Stephen and Helen Homesack, sister of the late John, Michael, Stephen and Frank Homesack, Anne Holmes, Eileen Holmes and June Holmes, she is survived by her husband John J. Carr, one daughter Jacqueline J. Carr and her husband David Curry of New Hope, one granddaughter Chloe Conti of Chicago and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Martin's of Tours R.C. Church, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope Pa. Calling hours will be Monday from 7-9 pm at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Rt. 179 Lambertville. For further information visit www.Garefino
