Ruth Klein Bennett, 92, passed away, Wednesday, October 22, 2013 at the Francis E. Parker Memorial Home at River Road in Piscataway, NJ. She was born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ.

Ruth was a 1938 graduate of New Brunswick High School. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Rutgers University. Ruth was a co-partner with her husband Steven in Bennett Cabinets for many years. She was the first woman President and a longtime member of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick. Ruth was also a member of the Raritan Valley Chapter of Hadassah. Ruth loved to travel all over the world. She enjoyed playing tennis, golf and bridge. Ruth's most favorite past time was being with her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents Herman and Flora Klein and her beloved husband Steven in 1990, she is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law Michael and Elissa Bennett, her daughters and sons-in-law Carol and Peter Collier and Barbara and Keith Glasgow, her six cherished grandchildren and her dear sister Sally Hindes.

Funeral Services will be held today, Wednesday, October 23rd at 10am at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Cremation will be private. Memorial contributions may be may to the Department of Political Science at Rutgers University, c/o Johanna Stephenson, 89 George Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
