Tydvil Applegate died Saturday at JFK Medical Center in Edison surrounded by her loving family. She was 91. Born in Plymouth, PA she lived in Edison for 30yrs, before settling in Rossmoore Retirement Community in Monroe, 19 years ago.
Tydvil was a Private Home Health Care LPN Nurse for many years. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Metuchen, a member of the United Methodist Women's Club, member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 6 of Metuchen, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 235 of Edison, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW
Post 3117 also of Edison. Mrs. Applegate was a loving mother, grand mother, great-grand mother, great-great grand mother, sister, & friend & will be dearly missed by all. She loved to sew, making ceramics, & spending time with her family especially her grand children. She is pre-deceased by her late husband Harold, daughter Beverly Micholowski, & grand daughter Deborah Pinter. Mrs Applegate is Survived by 4 daughters Cora Veisz & her husband Micheal, Francis Roswall & her husband Richard, Barbara Goodyear & her husband Charles, & Nancy Knudsen & her husband Richard. 1 brother William Baird, 14 grand children, 17 great-grand children & 2 great-great-grand children. Services will take place on Wednesday 10AM at the Centenary United Methodist Church 200 Hillside Ave, Metuchen. Burial Van Liew Cemetery, North Bruswick.
