Walter A. Brygier, Jr. Age: 80 * Neshanic Station, New Jersey Neshanic Station, NJ- Walter A. Brygier, Jr., 80, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by loving family. Born in Somerville, son of the late Walter A. and Freda K. (Dylewski) Brygier, Sr., he was raised in the Manville area and moved back to Somerville in 1952 before settling to Neshanic Station in 1992. After high school, Walter attended Pennsylvania Military College. He was honorably discharged from the United States National Guard in 1960. He retired from Midland Ross in Somerset as a general foreman and had also worked for Komline Sanderson and BnB Associates. Walter was a faithful communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges and was a member of the Raritan Valley Mason Lodge No. 46s, Elks Lodge
No. 2119, and Somerville Fire Fighters Engine Company #1. He enjoyed tinkering with model trains and planes and was an avid golfer.
Walter is survived by his beloved wife of over sixty years, Patricia A. (Brown) Brygier; four loving children, son, Walter A. Brygier, III and his wife Julie of Hamburg, PA, Blair Brygier and his wife Robin of Bridgewater, Cheryl and her husband Robert Stedtler of Branchburg, and Lisa and her husband Lawrence Ott of Mount Bethel, PA. He will be deeply missed by twelve cherished grandchildren: Kelsey, Joelle, Emily, Brandon, Kelly, Jessica, Nicholas, Sarah, Anna, Allison, Cheyenne and Montana, and an adored great grandchild, Elizabeth Ann.
At the family's request relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation in casual and colorful attire, rather than black, at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, February 21 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, February 22 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22 beginning 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. At the family's request, the disposition will be private.
