WILLIAM D. BROWN died Wed., Jan. 30, 2013, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was 86. Born in Vinton, VA., he resided in Perth Amboy before moving to Spotswood 56 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1991, he was a machinist for Kimberly Clark, Spotswood, where he worked for many years. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, and served in the Army as well. Mr. Brown was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Carol Williams in 2008. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Genevieve Accongiago Brown; a son, Billy and his wife Cyndy of Spotswood; 2 daughters, Glenda Anton and her husband John of East Brunswick, and Mary Stary and her husband, Douglas of Spotswood; a son-in-law, Richard Williams of Howell, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, 9:45 AM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by at 10:15 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, 2-5 PM. For directions, please visit.
