Ernest McCloud Obituary
AGE: 53 Perth Amboy
Ernest McCloud, 53, of Perth Amboy, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Born in Cadwell, Ga., he lived in Perth Amboy for marry years. He was employed by N.J. Transit for 22 years as a conductor. He served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a member of the American Legion Post 45 of Perth Amboy.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra (nee Jones), who died in 2001; his parents, Willie and Margaret (nee Mitchell) McCloud; and a brother, Aaron McCloud. He is survived by his sons, Jarvis and Travis McCloud of Perth Amboy, a grandson, Jayzon McCloud of Atlanta, Ga.; six sisters, Evelyn Showers, Elizabeth Pullen of Dublin, Ga., Margaret Cainion of Albany, Ga., Rosa Smith of Cadwell, Ga., Bessie Gordon of Woodbridge, Haloise Walker of Detroit, Mich.; five brothers, Naron, Calvin of Dublin, Ga., William, Ralph and Homer McCloud of Detroit, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be from 9 a.m. Friday, March 11 until the funeral services at 11 a.m. at Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay St., Perth Amboy. Burial will be at Alpine Cemetery.

Ernie was my best friend, and husband for many years....not too many people knew or appreciated how SPECIAL he was. Our last days were more special than I can ever express. He was singing on his last day. Rejoice everyone....he was ALL that. xoxoxoxoxo

Ernest was a high school sweetheart & a dear friend. I was blessed to have had a very kind loving young man to escort me to my Senior Prom. My condolenses to his family, children & grandchild(especially his sister Bessie). He will be miss, but fondly remembered.
