Aunt Stella was one of the sweetest ladies I ever met. She lived a beautiful life and raised 4 amazing sons. The love and support they share with each other is a true testament to their mom.
I carry with me wonderful childhood memories of visits with Aunt Stella, Uncle Joe and their boys at their home in Maspeth. I so looked forward to our family visits and parties. I'll never forget how happy she looked on the day Billy was Christened.
To Ed, Michael, Stephen and Billy - You were blessed with a wonderful mom. Always smiling, always kind and soft spoken, your mom was truly an angel. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Joanie

Our friendship with Joe, Stella and their wonderful, loving family leaves us with the fondest of memories and great sadness. It was coffee and babka at their house (Stella made the best ever), Roy & Joe cutting limbs of trees with such gusto, even our vacationing together in Panama City Florida where we had the best times. It was the long chats Stella & I would have while looking down the lagoon. Both Stella & Joe had tremendous love & pride of their family, and when speaking of them, they would light up at just the thought. Stella was a strong, independent, gentle, caring woman and a very special friend. We will greatly miss both she & Joe. Our hearts, love and prayers go out to the family at this difficult time. The entire Perkowski family was the way a family should be. They all bonded together and were always there for their Mom and Dad. To both Stella & Joe, their family was the most important part of their lives. We all have been blessed to have them in our lives.
