Anne Riznik Obituary
AGE: 90 • Plainfield
Anne Howald Riznik, 90, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 15, 2015. She was born in Narrowsberg, NY and had lived there until moving to Green Brook where she lived for 5 years then to Plainfield since 1949. Anne was predeceased by her husband George in 2008 . She worked as a school teacher for the Plainfield Board of Education for 17 years before her retirement many years ago.
Surviving is her son George of Warren, a daughter Lynn Holmgren of Plainfield, 2 sisters Helen Bischoff of Fl., Dianne Holand of White Lake, NY & Fl., 4 grandchildren, and 5 grandchildren.
Private funeral arrangements are by the Sheenan Funeral Home in Dunellen.

best teachers I had in elementary
school. Thank you Mrs. Riznik for

I have always wondered about my FAVORITE teacher. I wish I could have seen her before she passed. I had her for my 6th grade teacher in 1977. The very best teacher ever! She had such an impact in my life. I loved her so very much. She also had my younger sisters in 1979 and 1980. R I P Mrs. Riznik. You will never be forgotten, love, Kimberly Jarrell, Draughn.

To the Riznik family, I am so sorry for your loss. Ms Riznik was one of my most memorable favorite 6th grade teachers. A few things that are most memorable were her little skip sneakers, her love for airplanes, teaching us all about the Wright Brothers, awarding us with "Smarties" whenever we did well on spelling tests and teaching us what the word "Irrelevant"meant . She used that always when you asked to use the bathroom in the middle of a lesson. I remember her as an awesome teacher and a savvy energetic woman! Rest well.
