Stanley Goldstein

AGE: 92 • North Plainfield

Stanley Goldstein, age 92, died on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at JFK Haven Hospice Center in Edison. Born in New York City, Stanley was raised in Plainfield, and has resided in North Plainfield since 1953. Stanley served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II, as a member of the 301st ADG. He is an accomplished concert violinist, and was the former member of the Plainfield Symphony Orchestra.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 69 years, Julia; his children; Donna Zoletti and her husband, Robert, Mark Goldstein and his wife, Cindy, Jeffrey Goldstein and his wife, Donna and eight grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge. Funeral arrangements are being held under the direction of Higgins Home For Funerals, Plainfield. To send condolences please go to www.higginsfuneralhome.com.
