Transitioned this life September 20, 2017 in Edison New Jersey. Born in South Hill, Virginia she has been a resident of Plainfield for 60 years. Mrs. Tucker was employed by the Plainfield Board of Education for 20 years and was also a foster grand parent at the Plainfield Neighborhood House.
Predeceased by her husband Thomas, she is survived by her sons Thomas Jr., Todd, Troy (Monifa) and Matthew Tucker, daughters Terry & Tammy Tucker and Tracey miller , 40 grandchildren, great grand children, sister Dorothy Holms Talley and brother Oliver Holms and a host of loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday 9-10 a.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Plainfield. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
