AGE: 79 • Plainfield
Milton W. Howell, 79, affectionately known as "Mouse", on August 3, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Plainfield & former member of Mt. Zion AME Church. Formerly employed by the Plainfield Board of Ed as the Head Custodian & retired from Bristol Myers Squibb, New Brunswick as a Control Clerk. Mr. Howell served in the US Air Force, honorable discharge & was a member of Stone Square Lodge No.38 P.H.A, Zerubbabel Chapter No.5 H.R.A.M, Douglas Consistory No.10, Rebecca Chapter No. 1, O.E.S P.H.A & Golconda Temple no.24, Newark, NJ
Predeceased by daughter Niki Howell; brother Robert, Richard & Arthur Howell. Surviving are wife of 30yrs Carol A Howell; brother LeRoy Howell; sisters Althea Williams, Margaret Collins(Louis), Gloria Washington & Naomi Jones(Donald); 1 granddaughter Taylor Thornton & great granddaughter Kalani brown.
Funeral Services Friday 11AM at Rose of Sharon Community Church. Visitations Thursday 7-9PM at Judkins Colonial Home & Stone Square Lodge Ritualistic Service Thursday at 7PM. In Lieu of Flowers, Donations can be made to The American Cancer Society.

Carol, when I heard of Mouses demise, my prayers went out to you and family. Mouse was such a nice person who was a friend to all who knew him. He's now up there with his Masonic Brothers that have gone on, I know, they are welcoming him home.

Mouse was the sharpest man I knew from and early age. His style was impeccable. His manner was gentle. Mouse you will be missed more than you know. I will always carry you in my heart remembering the many conversations we shared together....Rest in Heaven my friend until we meet again.....
