AGE: 99 • Dunellen

Virginia L. Warrington DuVal, 99, died February 10, 2017 at her home in Fredericksburg, VA.

She was born May 4, 1917 in Baltimore, MD to Ralph M. and Bertha Rice Warrington. She was raised in North Plainfield, NJ and had resided in Dunellen from 1946 until 1999, when she moved to Fredericksburg, VA.

Virginia was a 1934 graduate of North Plainfield High School and a 1938 graduate of Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing in Plainfield, NJ. She served many years as a registered nurse at Muhlenberg Hospital.

Virginia was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Dunellen, which she joined February 3, 1957, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

She was the wife of Henry C. DuVal Jr. who died January 10, 2003 and the mother of Barbara J. DuVal Tesar who died June 6, 2006.

Her family includes two daughters, Rebecca D. Shelton, and her husband Edward of Frederickburg, VA and Lee D. Parker and her husband, Paul of Rolesville, NC, and granddaughter Lauren Parker, and her husband Burr Sutter of Rolesville, NC and a son-in-law, Richard E. Tesar of Speculator, NY.

A graveside service and interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 1:30pm.
