Quincy was the real deal, as far as being a "ROLE MODEL", BOTH AS A YOUNGSTER & AS AN ADULT. Pray for us, Rev. Yarborough... and thanks for not just preaching God's word, but living IT.

Although I haven't seen him since high school, I am sorry to hear of his passing. Back then I knew him as a soft spoken and polite gentleman. No surprise that he was called to the Ministry. My most sincere condolences to his family.

Our family was so saddened to hear of the passing of Rev. Yarborough. We first met when he and Phyllis relocated to the Chester, VA area and had been friends every since. Rev. Yarborough was a wonderful man, who had so many wonderful qualities. I enjoyed the talks that we shared and considered him a true man of faith and family. His physical presence will be missed, but the memories we share of Rev. Yarborough will live on. Our prayers are with the family. Fred & Darlene Atkins & Family

I am sorry I was unable to attend his Memorial due to being out of town, but my thoughts and prayers are with my Dear Friend Vivian Bloodsaw and his Family.

Condolences to the Yarborough Family at this time of earthly separation from your loved one. He is remembered as a kind and gentle classmate during his years at VLD Jr. High and EOHS Class of 64. Not at all surprised to learn years ago he entered the ministry. God's comfort and peace be with you all.

My big cousin Quincy was just the sweetest man. When I was a kid we would be so excited when he would come over. We would hound him to let us "swing on his muscle." He ever so patient with us. I well not forget his big smile and gregarious nature. RIP big guy.

Have not seen (Rev.) Quincy since we were kids, playing football on fields of Elmwood Park in East Orange,NJ. Although 2 years younger than I, his athleticism & effort made him a far, far superior player. But despite inherent violence of that sport, I knew he was a very good kid and a gentleman. I doubt he knew me...lots of kids(22) playing at one time. I was not surprised to read of his athletic stardom several years later at E. O. H. S... nor learning only now that he went into The Ministry. "You ran the race... You fought the good fight". Our Faith tells me You are now "In God's Eternal Love". God bless You and Your Loved Ones.

My heart is heavy for the loss of my friend and classmate. Every time I saw him I would hug him and say thank you. I would tell everyone around me how he came to the hospital when I was very very sick and pray for me. Thank you Quincy for telling me and showing me how much God loves his children.

I am sure you are resting in the arms of the Master. You have received your wings. I am sure you heard those words from our Savior, " well done thy good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things, come on up and I will make you ruler over many " Fly Quincy fly high! We will see you when we get there.
