AGE: 66 • Brick Township and formerly of Rutherford
Wendy L. Bard LaBruzza, 66, of Brick passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her home.
Wendy was born in New York, NY and had resided in Rutherford before moving to Brick 20 years ago.
She was a graduate of Felician College, School of Nursing and had been employed as a Registered Nurse at Shore Outpatient, Lakewood for many years.
Wendy was a lover of animals and a supporter of the Jersey Shore Animal Center, Brick.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, Joseph LaBruzza, her 4 loving daughters, Rhea Villanti, Maura Matteo and husband, Mark Fiederowicz, Lori Pass and husband, Jon, and Danielle Goddard and husband, Josh, her 2 grandsons Jacob Bard Pass, and Anthony Goddard, and her 2 sisters Virginia Bard and Judith Miller and husband, John.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers the family specifically requests donations to the Jersey Shore Animal Center, 185 Brick Blvd., Brick, NJ 08723.

It is still hard to comprehend that Wendi is gone... she was such a powerhouse, a bundle of energy... we cut school in JH and went to Palisades Park.... ate all kinds of goodies and then she made me ride the roller coaster, first car, no hands.... wow.... what a ride and what a friend... so many good times...I miss her
