Joseph Palaia Obituary
AGE: 56 • Asbury Park
Joseph James Palaia, 56, of Asbury Park, passed away Sunday Jan. 24, 2016 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Joseph was a former Chief of Investigations at the Attorney General's Office. He was a graduate of Ocean Township High School, Class of 1977.
He was predeceased by his mother Wedell Palaia. Surviving are his loving wife Elizabeth J. Mackay; sons Anthony Palaia and wife Aimee, Adrian Palaia; father Joseph Anthony Palaia former State Senator; sister Denise Palaia; many cousins, extended family, and his cat Mara.
Visitation will be held Thurs. Jan. 28, 2016 from 3pm-8pm at Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th Ave, Neptune. A 10:30am service will be held Fri. Jan. 29, 2016 at the funeral home, internment to follow at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his name to: Tree House Humane Society, 1212 W. Carmen Ave, Chicago, IL 60640.
