John Lisi Obituary
AGE: 61 • Millstone Township
John J. Lisi, 61, of Millstone Township, passed away suddenly on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in New York, he resided on Staten Island and graduated from Richmond College before moving to Millstone Township 18 years ago. He enjoyed gardening and especially watching the NY Yankees with his sons and took great pride in coaching their sports teams.
He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Lisi. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lucille; his two loving sons which were his pride and joy, Nicholas and Daniel, both of Millstone Twp.; his parents, Robert and Rose Lisi of Florida; five brothers and their wives, Robert (Mary Elizabeth), Richard (Hiro) Gregory (Kathy), Vincent (Kathy), and Timothy (Patti); four sisters and their husbands, Joanne (Tom), Peggy-Jo, Luciann, and Christine; brother-in-law, Stephen Tripoli; sisters-in-law, Angela Russo, Donna Vallese (Ralph), Sheila Tripoli and Linda Tripoli; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 and from 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31 until the funeral service at 10 a.m. at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Heart Association. Lucille,Nicky, Danny, I just found out about your loss. John was one of the best men I have ever met. You all were more than neighbors to all of us back in Staten Island, NY. Our boys were like brothers. My hearts is broken,my eyes filled with tears. He was a great husband n the best dad anyone could want. He will be misses. You all will be in our prayers.
