Albert Pastore Obituary
AGE: 84 • Collings Lake
Albert Pastore, 84, of Collings Lakes, NJ., formerly of New Providence, NJ., entered into eternal rest on Jan. 8, 2014. Albert was born in Summit, NJ. He was a Korean War Veteran. A carpenter by trade, Albert joined the union in the 1960's and retired at 62. Albert spent his time caring for his property, watching the eagles soar across his beloved lake, and fishing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Pastore, his beloved children: Daniel Pastore and his wife Karen Pastore of New Providence, Craig Pastore and his wife Carla Pastore of Berkeley Heights, and Douglas Pastore and his wife Kristin Pastore of Somerset, and his six beautiful grandchildren: Alexandra, Douglas, Nicole, Christopher, David, and Julianna.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 9 am on Saturday, Jan. 18, at St. Matthias Church, 170 JFK Blvd., in Somerset, NJ., followed by a procession to Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery, 1800 Rt. 27, North Brunswick, NJ. In lieu of flowers any donations can be sent to the American Lung Association.
