AGE: 77 • Basking Ridge
John Oliver Allen, 77, of Basking Ridge, NJ., passed away on Monday September 16, 2013 at the Holly Manor Nursing Home. Born on September 26, 1935 in Florham Park, NJ.
John Served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He attended school at the Lake Field Preparatory School in Ontario, Canada. John was Vice President of Thermionic Products Inc for 35 years before retiring in 2003
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Marilyn Allen, a son Timothy Allen, a daughter Jessica Huff, three grandsons, as well as two brothers Dr Alexander Allen and James Allen.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday September 22, 2013 at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, from 1-3 pm followed by a service at 3 pm at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
