Lester N. Nagy, 88, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Born in Fords, he resided in Bridgewater for 45 years before moving to Branchburg a year ago. Mr. Nagy served the United States Army in the Philippines during World War II. Mr. Nagy worked in the retail industry and as a Home Developer, until retiring in 1999. Lester was a communicant of St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater and was a former member of its Men's Club. Mr. Nagy enjoyed his friendships while swimming and exercising as a member of the Somerville YMCA for 30 years. He also enjoyed traveling and woodworking.

His family meant everything to him, especially his grandchildren and great-grandson, Justen.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Florence C. Nagy in July 2012; his parents, Joseph and Bertha Borsody Nagy; and sister, Marie Wilt. Surviving are his loving daughters, Laurie Sena and husband, Mark of Bridgewater and Patricia Nagy, of Branchburg; his two cherished grandchildren, Kristen Sena of Bridgewater and Mark Tyler Sena of Philadelphia, PA; his cherished great-grandson, Justen Cole Sena; his dear brother, Joseph Nagy and wife, Claire of Fanwood; his dear sister, Bertha Mika and husband, Ralph of PA; several nieces and nephews; his brother-in-law, Joseph Nasiatka of Whiting; and his sister-in-law, Marion Osinski of Belvidere.

Funeral services will begin at 10:15 AM with a prayer on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by a 11 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 500 Route 22 East, Bridgewater. Entombment will be at St. Bernard Mausoleum, Route 28, Bridgewater.
