Ruth Gliozzi Obituary
AGE: 90 • Edison
Ruth E. "Nan" Gliozzi, 90, of Edison, passed away on Thursday May 12, 2016 at the Mary Anne Hale Pavilion Haven Hospice, Edison. Born in West Hazelton, PA, she resided in Edison since 1960. She ran the Central Jersey Skate Shop (CJS) in Edison. Ruth was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Edison.
She is predeceased by two husbands, Albert Battagliotti and Frank Gliozzi, nine brothers and sisters and one grandson Marcus Scroggins. Surviving are her two sons, Al and Theresa Battagliotti of Edison and John and Mary Ann Battagliotti of Edison; one sister Jean Hebel of Allentown, PA; five grandchildren Albert and his wife Helen, JoAnn and Mel , Joni, John Jr. and Joey; two great grandchildren Carissa and A.J and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place Monday 9:15am at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave. (Rt.27) Metuchen (costellorunyon.com) followed by a 10:00am Funeral Service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Edison. Entombment is in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Visitation is Sunday 1-3 and 5-7pm.
