Alan S. Hatoff

AGE: 76 • Warren, formerly of Cranford

Alan S. Hatoff, 76, passed away on November 13, 2013. Alan was born in Newark, New Jersey, resided in Cranford and later in Warren. Alan graduated from Weequahic High School in Newark, attended Rutgers University and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Berlin Crisis in 1961. Alan was a long-time member of Temple Beth-El, Cranford.

He was employed as a manufacturer's sales executive in the fine jewelry industry for many years. Alan was an avid golfer, bowler, auto enthusiast and traveler. He received his greatest pleasure by spending time with his family and many friends.

Alan is survived by his wife of more than fifty years, Blossom (nee Ort), daughters Harlee Hatoff (Barry E. Rosenberg) and Brenda Giordano (Steven), and sons Jay Hatoff and Kory Hatoff (Kathleen), six adoring grandchildren and a multitude of family and friends.

Services will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Menorah Chapels, 2950 Vauxhall Road, Union [Vauxhall], New Jersey 07088. Following services, internment will take place at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
