Albert Arouh passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, he was a graduate of New Brunswick High School and Rutgers University class of 1953.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lucy and Salomon Arouh and his brother, Harry. He is survived by his sister, Esther Arouh. He will be admirably remembered by his devoted wife of 56 years, Beverly (Garson) and his four daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and John Abularrage, Charlene and Tim Peterson, Melissa Sitrin and Julie Fried. The love of his life were his twelve grandchildren, who constantly brought him pleasure with their exciting accomplishments. They are Lauren, Hannah, Kyle, Morgan and Abree Peterson, Nile and Tara Abularrage, Carly, Noah and Lia Sitrin, and Hayley and Taylor Fried.
Albert was employed by Morrison Steel Company and Universal Manufacturing, prior to becoming President and CEO of Broad Spectrum Lighting. He had been an instructor of Business Organization & Management and Economics at Middlesex County College. He was also a member of Temple Emanu-El in Edison, NJ. He enjoyed travelling the world to experience their antiquities and spent weekends at flea markets searching for antiques.
Services will be conducted at 12PM Tuesday, March 5th at Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick, NJ, followed by interment at Elmwood Cemetery, 425 Georges Rd., North Brunswick, NJ. Shiva will be observed at the family residence until Friday afternoon.
