Andrew Conti Obituary
AGE: 67 • Holmdel
Andrew Conti, MD, FACP - 67, of Holmdel, NJ passed away on August 20, 2015. Born in Staten Island, NY on March 24, 1948 to the late Chiarina Conti and Andrew Conti, Andrew graduated from Port Richmond High School and went on to receive a Bachelor in Science at Richmond County College (College of Staten Island). Andrew went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of Rome and a Masters Degree of Medical Management from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. After numerous years of private practice on Staten Island, Andrew and his beloved wife Sandra settled in Holmdel, NJ.
He currently was a physician at Oakhurst Medical Group, Oakhurst, NJ and Governor Elect for the American College of Physicians, New Jersey Southern District. Andrew was predeceased by his mother, Chiarina, and his father, Andrew. In addition to his loving wife, Sandra, he is survived by his five children Vanessa Schwartz (John), Christian Conti (Michelle), Andrew Conti (Gina), Christopher Sheedy (Audra), and Jeanne Perez (Mauricio). He is also the proud grandfather of his twelve beautiful grandchildren Walter, William, Paul, Christian, Andrew, Anneliese, Ryan, Juliana, Sofia, Alexander, Liam, and Anabella. He is also survived by his two siblings Rose Nybro and Larry Conti. Some of Andrew's joys in life were golf, photography, travel, wine, water skiing and snow skiing. His true passion was spending time with family especially his children and grandchildren.
Andrew will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Andrew will be reposing on Sunday & Monday, August 23 & 24, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9pm at the Evergreen Funeral Home, Route 35 North, Middletown, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 9:15am at St. Catharine's Church, 108 Middletown Road in Holmdel, NJ 07733. Entombment to follow at Holmdel Cemetery, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. In lieu of flowers: Donations for scholarship fund paid out to: College of Staten Island Foundation, c/o John Schwartz, Royce & Associates, 745 5th Avenue, NY, NY 10151

Dr Conti - you are the last of a dying breed of doctors that did what you needed to do for your patients. If they needed paperwork or just a hand to hold you always did without rush or complaints. I will miss you passing by my office and saying hello and asking if I needed anything from you for my patients. Your sincere concern for them and us will be missed. May God give your family the strength they will need to bear this loss. I will miss our talks about medicine and hospitals back in the day. Rest in Peace - God wanted you with him.
