Annette "Sugar" Morey Obituary
Annette "Sugar" Morey

AGE: 44 • Manchester

Annette "Sugar" Morey 44 of Manchester lost her battle with cancer on Saturday August 10, 2013 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She worked as a dietary aide for 7 years for Meridian Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Brick. Born in Red Bank, she resided in Brick for many years before moving to Manchester 16 years ago. She was very active in the Jersey Shore Council Boy Scouts; she was a Committee Member and the Popcorn Kernel for the Whispering Pine District, a Committee Member for Troop #425 of Manchester, Tiger Leader for Cub Scout Pack #350 of Whiting, and had held many positions for Pack #44 of Manchester. She volunteered for the Manchester Little League as a team mom and as a snack stand manager. Besides all of these things Sugar was always a very loving wife to her High School Sweetheart of 29 years, a mom that loved her Munchie more than life itself and a friend who would put their needs first before her own. Sugar brightened any room that she walked into with her contagious smile, her little crazy laugh or singing a silly song. She always gave her all and never asked for anything in return. Sugar was a friend to all and to have known her is to love her. Sugar has touched so many lives and will be missed tremendously but her spirit, love and laughter will live on in each of us. As Sugar was an angel here on Earth, she surely is an angel in Heaven. She is predeceased by her mother, Karen Graziano and her sister Diana Maltese in 2012. Surviving is her husband of 24 years, Philip W, son, Daniel of Manchester, sister, AnnMarie Blackburn of Tonopah, NV, father, Anthony Graziano & wife Susie of Daytona Beach FL. Also surviving are a brother-in-law, Vinnie Maltese of Jefferson, ME and her mother's loving companion, Artie Smith of Farmingdale and 2 nephews & 7 nieces. Visitation is Friday 6-9 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester with a private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers please make your donations to TD Ameritrade FBO Daniel Morey Acct # 866664270, PO Box 2229 Omaha, NE 68103. For directions or to send condolences, please visit
