Armand A. Lombardi, 87, of Leisure Village West, Manchester, passed away Sunday, March 24, at Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Lakewood. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was employed for over 40 years as a machinist, first with Columbia Engineering, Newark and later for Orbit Tool & Die Company, Springfield before his retirement in 1990. He attended St. John's Church, Lakehurst and served as Condo Captain in Leisure Village West. Born in Newark, he lived in Orange for 40 years before moving to Manchester in 1991. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 61 years, Antoinette; a son, Nicholas of Manchester; 2 daughters and their husbands, Phyllis and Gary Wooster of Rockaway Township, and Janet and Tom Smith of Manchester; his loving sister, Louisa LaFragola of Toms River; and 5 grandchildren, Eric, Kelly, Jason, Kristen, and Emma. Visitation is Tuesday from 3-7 pm at the Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday at 9:00 am at St. John's Church, Lakehurst with entombment to follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
