AGE: 82 • formerly of Plainfield
Andy Anderer, 82, of New Providence, PA passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013. He was the widower of the late Eleanor Anderer. Andy served in the US Air Force for 21 years and was a veteran of both the Korean and the Vietnam Wars. Following his military career, he had retired from the Plainfield, NJ Police Department. He was born in Somerville, NJ, son of the late Arthur Anderer and Ethel Novegrod.
He was predeceased by his sons, Kent, Gary, Dale, Mark and grandson, Christopher. He was also predeceased by his two brothers, Joseph and Patrick. He is survived by his son, Rick and wife Karen and granddaughter, Nora. He is also survived by his siblings, Michael Anderer of PA, Catherine Collins of MN, Beatrice Carson of LA, Barbara Hayton of NJ and Anne Martin of NJ.
A Memorial Service was held on July 24th at New Providence Church of God. The internment will follow at a later date at Arlington Cemetery.
