AGE: 100 • Plainfield

Beaver Carden, 100, passed December 8, at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Rock Hill, SC, she resided in Plainfield for 73 years. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church 65 yrs. and The Mt. Olive Baptist Church for 8 yrs. Mrs. Carden attended Friendship College in SC and was employed by Westinghouse, 20yrs, and The Raritan Arsenal.

Predeceased by her husband Irvin Carden, parents Louis and Amelia Agurs, she leaves to morn her memory her son Linwood Cathcart Jr. (aka Karriem Muhammad) Rose Marie, 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Services on Wednesday, December 14, 11 AM at The Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 216 Liberty Street, Plainfield, NJ, friends may visit 10 AM until time of service. Arrangements: Judkins Colonial Home, 428 W. 4th Street, Plainfield, NJ. Condolences: www.judkinscolonialhome.com
