AGE: 97 • Toms River
Carmen A. LaSalle, 97, of Toms River, passed away on May 2, 2012. Born in Orange, he lived in West Orange for many years prior to moving to Toms River 22 years ago. Mr. LaSalle was employed with Mechanics Uniform Company in Newark. He was president of Holiday Heights Homeowners Association and was very active with the Democratic Party. Surviving are his wife of 72 years Angelina; 3 daughters, Angela Barone and husband Jimmy, Jackie Moran and husband Joe, Joanne Carbone and husband Mike; 2 siblings, Angelina, and Francis LaSalle. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Viewing hours will be on Sunday May 6, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with a Prayer Service to be held at 3:30pm in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721.
