Cathy Mazzarella, 61, of Piscataway, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a florist employed by A&P, South Plainfield. Born in Newark, she lived in Irvington, Union moving to Piscataway 17 years ago. She was an avid motorcyclist who loved the beach.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Steve Monaghan of Leonardo; and her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Diana Mazzarella of Bridgewater. She is also survived by grandchildren, Stephen, Kevin, Jessica and Dylan. She has a sister, Patricia Gozikowski of Pennsylvania. She also has two nephews, Michael and Patrick; and a niece, Colleen.
The family will receive their friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 at John P. Condon Funeral Home LLC, 804 Highway 36, Leonardo. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13 at the funeral home. Cremation services will be private.
