Our deepest sympathies to Mrs.Peterson, and the entire family. Our family lives on E.7th st.and got to know Charlie when we began to purchase eggs from the family. For those who do not realize it,they sold fresh eggs off of their front porch, and you left the money in the mail box(can you imagine that today).Charlie was a warm, caring man,who would discuss with myself,or my wife, about his family, and the history of Plainfield.Plainfield truly has lost a pillar of the community.
Rest In Peace Charlie.

Our kidest thoughts to the Peterson family-I spent many a day crossing the farm from my uncles-the Comi's and fishing the pond. Brings back so many great times-My best to Evan from an old high school teacher

Mr. Peterson was always a welcome client and visitor to me along with the rest of the staff at Holiday Travel. I'll always remember his stories about growing up in Plainfield along with his time on the Fire Dept.
Although I now live in North Carolina I often reminisce about the great people I served while working at Holiday Travel, Charlie Peterson being one of them.
Sincerely,
Rich Blake

Mr. Peterson has been our back yard neighbor and friend for over 30 years. It was quite an experience for us growing up to watch him tend and farm his land. He will be missed.

Dear Gloria - I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I was just recently recounting the story of visiting the farm, buying fresh eggs, feeding the chickens and seeing Willie the goat. Please take care of yourself and always know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
