Chris Dhume Obituary
Chris was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Michael J. Szantai and his paternal grandmother Maxine C. Perfect. He is survived by his parents Valerie and Chris Dhume of Cliffwood, a sister Nichole Lester, Keyport, a brother Bronsen Dhume and a sister Danielle Dhume both at home, his maternal grandmother Alice Szantai, Cliffwood, his paternal grandfather, James H. Dhume, Tennessee, and two nephews Jaylene and Dominick Lester of Keyport. He is also survived by his loving aunts and uncles. Chris will be missed and remembered by many.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Bedle Funeral Home, 61 Broad Street, Keyport, NJ 07735. Visitation will be held Monday, January 24 from 2-4 and 7-9. There will be a Funeral Mass at Jesus the Lord RC Church, Keyport at 10AM Tuesday. Interment at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Chris' memory to "DOOM" Trust Fund, C/O Val Dhume, 818 Prospect Avenue, Cliffwood, NJ 07735 in support of Matawan Soccer Programs. I'm a mom of one, an aunt to 8, a friend to many so I say my deepest heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved Chris. I didn't know Chris but i am so very sad for all of you. Stay strong for your loved ones and hold on to each other for support.

Our hearts are so deeply saddened to hear of such a loss. We share in your anguish more than you may know, for we lost our son, a senior in high school also, to this horrible illness in the same sudden way five years ago in Iowa.

I am so deeply saddened. Chris was much to young. I can't even fathom what my brother must be feeling. I wish I could just hug him and cry out loud, there is no rhyme or reason for the pain he must be enduring, and I can't even comprehend my brothers pain.
