Corrine Counts Obituary
AGE: 71 • Plainfield
Corrine I. Counts, age 71, died on Friday, May 13, 2011 at her home in Plainfield. She was born in Scotch Plains, raised in Fanwood and had lived in Plainfield since 1966. Mrs. Counts was employed with the city of Plainfield for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading mystery novels, crocheting and sewing.
Mrs. Counts is predeceased by her husband, Roscoe Counts in 2003 and her daughter, Gayle Counts in 1993. Surviving are her son, Roscoe Lindsey Counts, III of Plainfield; her daughters, Stephanie Morisset of Willingboro, Sherry Counts, Sharon Counts, Audrey Counts and Joy Counts, all of Plainfield. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 7-9pm only. To send condolences, please go to www.higginsfuneralhome.com.
