Daniel Thielke Obituary
AGE: 21 • Hillsborough
Daniel Andrew Thielke, 21, died on Saturday September 19, 2015. He was born in Trenton, NJ, and grew up in Hillsborough, NJ. Daniel was a senior majoring in Computer Science at The College of New Jersey, and a member of the TCNJ Competitive Gaming Club. He graduated from Hillsborough High School Class of 2012. He enjoyed playing video games, fencing and spending time with his cats Cinnamon and Bara.
Surviving are his parents Wesley and Francesca Thielke, his brother David with fiancée Rachel Lamontagne, his sisters, Elizabeth and Emily and his maternal grandmother Luciana Benzoni. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles Nola Smith and Larry Smith, Evelyn and Joel Greene, Fausta and Giampaolo Bassanello, Antonietta Benzoni and Vincenzo Campagna, and cousins Adam, Cody, Michael and Lisa Greene, Phoebe and Katie Smith, and Cristian Bassanello.
Visiting for family and friends will be on Thursday, September 24 from 4:00 to 8:00 at the Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 US Hwy 206, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel's name may be made to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in North Branch, NJ.
