Diane Marie Puppo, 51, entered into eternal life Friday evening, April 19, 2013 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Plainfield to her mother Dorothy (Jasinski) and late father Patrick Puppo, Diane has lived in Somerset most of her adult life. She was a graduate of Franklin High School and went on to further her education to become a dental hygienist. For many years, Diane worked at Manville Dental Group in Manville and through her years working, she developed many friendships that have endured until the present time. Diane was an altruistic, outgoing, and generous woman who always made time for others. She was an avid outdoor person who enjoyed gardening, traveling, antiquing, kayaking and the ocean. Diane loved to walk the towpath where she enjoyed photographing the many birds, plants and animals she came across. Diane liked to bicycle and could always be found riding with her brother Rocco or her friends, especially her dog Gizmo who accompanied her on many of her outings. Diane loved to try cuisines of all countries, often reproducing them for family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at home or by a late night fire.
Besides her father, she was predeceased by her sister, Rosanne Puppo who died in 1995. Diane is survived by her loving mother, Dorothy Puppo; her brother, Rocco Puppo and his wife Angelica and her two adored nieces, Olivia Rose and Jessica Lynne Puppo. She also leaves behind her treasured dog and companion, Gizmo and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
On Saturday, April 27, 2013, relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, St. Paul the Apostle Church, corner of 6th Ave. and Raritan Ave., Highland Park, NJ 08904 for a 10:30 a.m. memorial mass.
