Dolores A. (Huber) Massett

AGE: 69 • South Plainfield

Dolores A. (Huber) Massett, 69, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 in the Haven Hospice within JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Jersey City, Dolores resided in North Plainfield before residing in South Plainfield. She had been a longtime employee at the former Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Initially working as a switch board operator before working in the admissions department prior to the hospitals closure. She also worked for many years for Dr. August Salvatore in his Clark office. Dolores enjoyed bingo and bus trips to Atlantic City with her husband, Peter, but her pride and joy were her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents, Joseph, Sr. and Mary Alice Huber; sister, Mary Deegan and her brother, Joseph Huber Jr. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Peter; two daughters, Margaret Barth and her husband, David, Alice Eustice and her husband, Robert; son, Peter Jr. and his wife Jana and three brothers, Robert, Fred and Harold Huber. She will also be missed by her seven grandchildren, Kelly Eustice, Courtney Romano and husband Rob, Rebecca Eustice, Thomas Barth, Andrew Barth, Ryan Massett and Jack Massett.

Funeral services will be on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 8 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080 (www.mccriskinfuneralhome.com). Visitation is Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment of her cremated remains will take place on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 12 noon at the family plot in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 1734 Clinton Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis Tenn. 38105.

Aunt Delores will be sorely missed. She was a wonderful, loving, fun Aunt. My heart is broken and know how difficult it will be for her loving family to go on without her. I am grateful she was in our life, she always put a smile on my Dad and Mom's face - Gone but never forgotton, forever in my prayers, she is home now with all her family- LOVE her niece Cathy Ryan

While I didn't spend a lot of time with your Mom, the time I did spend was wonderful. We celebrated Tommy's and Andy's graduations together and I remember how much she loved Jim's cooking.
