Florence Brown Obituary
AGE: 76 ? Plainfield
Florence Jennings "Flo" Brown, 76, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 at home. Born in Cave, SC, she lived in Plainfield for over 50 years. She was formerly employed as a technician with Lockheed Electronics in Watchung. Flo as she was known, was a member of Ruth Fellowship Ministries in Plainfield.
Her husband, Douglas H. Brown, Sr. died Aug. 22, 2010. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Simmons (Elliott); a son, Leon C. Brown; a stepson, Douglas H. "Butch" Brown, Jr.; a step daughter, Lorna D. Hall (Howard, Sr.); a niece who was raised as a daughter, Renee Little (Rodney); three grandchildren, Elliott D., Jonathan D. and Jordan D. Simmons; three step grandchildren, Keya D. Becker (Keith), Howard S. Hall, Jr. and Stephanie D Lyell (Louis); a sister in law, Shirley Jennings; a brother in law, Lawrence "Wally" Brown (Verdell) and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Wed. 11am in Ruth Fellowship Ministries, 733 So. Second St., Plainfield preceded by viewing at 9am. Entombment in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Home, Plainfield. Condolences may be expressed at brownsfuneralhome.net.
