AGE: 81 • Milltown

Frank L. Crane, of Milltown, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Care One in East Brunswick. He was 81. Born in Bound Brook, he lived in Milltown for over 50 years. He served in the army airforce during the Korean War. After service, he worked for Squibb before joining the NJ State Police, retiring in 1985. He helped numerous people in his line of work. He was a member of the NJ State PBA. Frank enjoyed going to the Atlantic City, horse and dog racing and loved playing scratch off Lotto tickets. He also enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.

Surviving is his wife Betty (Madell) Crane; his daughter Patricia Boyce of North Brunswick; 4 granddaughters Grace Polhemus, Deborah Ohye-Neilson and her husband Don Neilson; Denise Bukoskey and Tammy Patterson; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Services will be Friday, October 7, 2011, at 12 noon at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Ave., Milltown. Friends and relatives may call from 10:00 am till the time of service. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. In lieu of fowers, contributions may be made to the Milltown Rescue Squad, POB 308, Milltown.
