There are no words good enough to describe Dr. Keating. He was a one in a million doctor and human being. I worked for him for years in his office in Plainfield and had such great affection for him. I think of him often and will be forever grateful for knowing him and having him touch my life the way he did. God bless him and his family always.

I am sorry to hear that your father has died. He was one of a kind! I knew him when he was a resident at Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital/JCMC in Jersey City when I was a student nurse. I then worked with him for 10 years at Muhlenberg Hospital. He was so thoughtful and caring to his patients and co-workers! Connie Hendrzak, R.N.

Dr. Keating is the reason I am a nurse today. Every time I wanted to drop out of nursing school, he would tell me "you're going to be a great nurse!" He was a real "old school" physician, who truly cared about his patients. I had the pleasure of having him deliver my son. My deepest condolences to his family.

I am very sorry to hear of Dr. Keating's passing. I will never forget my first visit with Dr. Keating after learning I was pregnant at 18, a senior in high school and very unsure that I could handle being a mom. After my visit with him he put his hand on my arm and said "I think this is a wonderful thing you are doing." I will never forget that. My "baby" is now 26 years old and has a daughter of her own. Dr. Keating will always be a special part of that time in my life. My condolences to the entire Keating family.

I must add my words to the others that have expressed what a wonder doctor, man, human being Dr. Keating was. He was my doctor also and delivered our daughter many years ago. Also many years ago he performed successful cancer surgery on my Mom and helped us/her through a difficult time. Our family will be forever grateful to Dr. Keating. The world needs many more compassionate people like him. Our deepest sympathy to you in your loss but earth's loss is heaven's gain.

My sincerest condolences on the tremendous loss of your Dad. I had the pleasure of working w/him in the early 1990's when he consulted at HMO Blue in Newark. He was absolutely authentic and a brilliant physician. What I remember the most is how much he was in love with your mother and the pride he had in his children. He loved being an obstetrician and cared deeply for his patients. I was pregnant at the time and I remember once he called me at home to make sure I was following my own OB's orders. A dear, dear man whom I was fortunate to work with. Thank you for the wonderful gift of your father.
