Gerard Gabriel Piserchia, Sr., age 73, of Toms River, passed away on February 28 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ. Born in Jersey City, Gerard lived in Toms River moving to Lake Ridge in 2005. He worked as a supervisor of traffic engineering for Ocean County Engineering Department for 38 years retiring 2005. He also was a special for the Jackson Police Department. He is a communicant of St. Josephs Church, Toms River, the FOP Lodge #10, Toms River, the Italian Culture Club of Lake Ridge, and Men's Club of Lake Ridge.
Surviving is his wife Lucille or 23 years, two sons, Gerard G., Jr. and his wife Marcy of Emerson, NJ, Michael and his fiancée Michelle of Forked River, NJ. Also surviving are nine loving grandchildren Gerard G III, Olivia, Dominic, Brandon, Nicholas, Ashley,Samantha, Riley and Loghan, his great nephew William J. Reynolds III who he was so proud of for being accepted into the University of Cambridge U.K. studying for his masters, his brother in law Paul Reynolds and his wife Dorothy of Navarre, FL, Teressa Blair and Tracey Gray who he embraced as his own, his best pals Roxy, Molly, and Zoey who he loved dog sitting for and many nephews, nieces and friends.
Visiting will be Tuesday, March 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 6 10:30AM at St. Joseph's Church, Toms River. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetary Toms River.
