Gordon Comfort Judson

AGE: 89 • Pittstown

Gordon Comfort Judson, 89, died on September 21, 2011. He was born in Plainfield, NJ on September 20, 1922 to his parents, John Bergen Mould and Lucy Gertrude Smith Judson. Gordon retired from Lockheed Electronics as a Senior Administrator in 1985. He spent his time traveling, including a cruise through the Panama Canal, and volunteered at Muhlenberg Hospital until 2002. He served in the Philippines for the U.S. Air Force during World War II as a radar operator reaching the rank of Sergeant. He enjoyed good food, good music, and good friends. He was known by some as "Mark's 'cool' Uncle." He will be sadly missed.

Gordon is survived by his God Son, Bill of Bryan, NC; his sister-in-law, Muriel Schumacher of Florida; great-nephew, Mark Snyder; his nephew, Jeffrey Judson; and three nieces, Kathy Judson Cook, Cynthia Judson Dickerson, and Marilyn Jane (Snyder) Hawkins, and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, six brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of AAAB Cremation Services, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (1-888-906-9500).

I worked closely with Gordon at Lockheed for 35 years and considered him a friend as well as a co-worker. He was a fine person, honorable and dedicated, as well as a good worker and pleasant companion. My deepest sympathies to his family.
