J. Bryan Hubbard

AGE: 77 • Stewartsville

J. Bryan Hubbard, age 77, of Stewartsville, NJ, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at home. Mr. Hubbard was born September 28, 1934 in London, England. He was the son of the late Robert and the late Elizabeth Jane (Robertson) Hubbard. He immigrated to the United States in 1957 and lived in Bound Brook, NJ, before moving to Stewartsville, NJ, three years ago. Bryan was a manager at the M and R Marking Company in Piscataway, NJ, for many years before retiring. He also worked for VERA in Piscataway, NJ. He served in the British Royal Navy from 1952 to 1954. Bryan enjoyed classical music, woodworking, genealogy, photography, reading, archery, English motorcycles and fine wines. He was an active member of the Princeton Astronomy Club, but, most importantly, he cherished time with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Penelope (Madden) Hubbard; his daughters, Nicki Iacono & Tracy Dacko; his son-in-law, Jason Dacko; his grandchildren, Jack & Gillian Iacono and Christopher Dacko. Additional survivors include his nieces, Diane Almodovar & Barbara Hubbard-McCarthy and his nephew, Jeff Hubbard. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Gordon Stevenson Hubbard in 1998.

Bryan's Life Celebration will include a memorial service at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 8th at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. Family & friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to the time of the service.
