Jean Galinski Jarusiewicz on a Monday Morning, Jan. 28, 2013 Mom left us to be with the Rest of the Angels in Heaven. We had her 100 year birthday party in November of 2012 at the Sayreville VFW, with over eighty of her Friends and relatives, at which Mom was singing a few Polish songs for us.

Jean was predeceased by her parents, John & Mary Galinski; her brothers, Ben & Eddie; sisters, Veronica, Mary, and Ella. She was also predeceased by her husband, Edward P. Jarusiewicz and her son, John Matthew Jarusiewicz. Jean is survived by her two sons, Edward & Richard Jarusiewicz and three loving daughters-in-law, Betty, Diane, and Jane Jarusiewicz. Also her grandchildren, Thomas Jarusiewicz, John Jarusiewicz, Michael Jarusiewicz, Lindsey Jarusiewicz, Edward Jarusiewicz, Lori Lee Szpara, Beth Ann Pastuszak; great grandchildren, Edward & Jordan Jarusiewicz, Michael & Amy Pastuszak, John Edward Szpara, Abbey & Paige Jarusiewicz, Jacob Jarusiewicz, Sophia John Jarusiewicz; her nieces, Sylvia Valentino, Barbara Helstrom, Majorie Cnossen, Agnes Corvino, Mary Kilcomins, Mary Juva, Kathy Tabaszewski, Jackie Bagwell, Shirley Read, Eileen Kucinski, Anna Lee Warren, and Judy Smith; her nephews, Edmund Jarusiewicz, Mark Jarusiewicz, Michael Jarusiewicz, Frank Jarusiewicz, Walter Jarusiewicz, Art Lewicki, and Bruce Hillyer; her sisters-in law, Irene Zakrzewski and Ann Jarusiewicz, and her brother-in-law, Joseph Zakrzewski

Funeral services will be held Friday 8:45am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville followed by a 9:30am Mass at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 4pm to 8pm.
