John A. Feher passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013, his 82nd birthday, at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. He was a very kind and loving man who will be greatly missed. Born in New Brunswick, he has resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township for 25 years. Mr. Feher graduated from Seton Hall University in East Orange and worked as a television cameraman for many years. He received many awards over the course of his career, including several Emmy Awards. He was an active communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge, where he served in the choir for several years; and a United States Army veteran.
Mr. Feher was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Ladislaw and Margaret Feher; and a sister, Margaret Donavan. Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Carol Ann Prainito Feher; three daughters, Jeanette Lee and her husband, Lesley, of Golden, CO, Colette Feher-Laning of Palmer Lake, CO and Nicole Tamminga and her husband, John, of Ashland, OR; a sister, Dorothy Sullivan, of Naples, FL; three step children, Catherine M. Eucaliptus of Milltown, Michael M. Dino and his wife, Judith of Hainesport and Dr. Jeffrey T. Dino and his wife, Kendra, of Bloomingdale; thirteen grandchildren, Amanda Kozlowski, Michael Simms, Luke Tamminga, Nicholas Eucaliptus, Blake Lee, Ryan Laning, Troy Tamminga, Rachel Dino, Anthony Dino, Kristin Kozlowski, Jake Dino, Emily Eucaliptus and Christopher Dino; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint James Childcare Center, 148 Grenville Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
